Medical Advisor

Medical Advisor – Pharmaceutical Company – Berkshire – Salary negotiable + excellent benefits.

There is currently the opportunity for and experienced Medical Advisor to join this highly regarded pharmaceutical company in an integral role as a key point of scientific and technical knowledge for their current and future products.

JOB TITLE: Medical Advisor

BACKGROUND:
Providing technical and scientific support to established brands and pre-launch activities. This will require an in-depth knowledge of the company's products to be recognised as one of the company's medical experts. The dissemination of medical and scientific information to a variety of audiences while working closely with Medical Advisors in order to maintain an accurate record of the organisations, structures and processes involved in vaccine evaluation at the regional and local levels.

ROLE:

The position will consist of 3 key areas; medical affairs, pharmacovigilance support and clinical affairs support. This position will require you to provide a high-level scientific expertise in the disease areas related to this company's product portfolio. You will represent the Medical Directorate in relevant multidisciplinary product teams, lecture, present data and contribute to debates and discussions at national and international conferences and undertake all activities in compliance with the current version of the ABPI Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry. You will collaborate with the Pharmacovigilance Manager, to monitor trends in adverse event reports and to report any identified causal relationships to HBO and thereafter, once agreed by HBO/shareholder, to MHRA and provide strategic input on clinical trials conducted, or potentially conducted, in the UK.
