Menswear Buying Director

Leading Turkish retailer with over 300 stores in 80 cities is currently searching for a new Buying Director to lead the growing buying team. With plans to go into new markets in the near future this role is pivotal in the direction of the brand image and its success internationally.

In this autonomous role you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and threats in the market to the business.You will also be making sure the target customer is clearly identified and that their expectations and preferences are communicated to the Buying and Design teams. It will be your duty to specify the price, style, range and sourcing strategies to reflect the changing needs of the target customer.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for formulating and achieving both range and sales plans within agreed parameters. The prefered candidate will have similar experience with a large blue chip retailer working in a similar position. Experience in menswear is desired.
