National Account Manager (Top 3 Grocery)

An instantly recognisable food company is looking for an experienced account manager to manage their largest grocery account. You must have previous experience of managing one of the top 3 UK grocery multiples to apply.

Your main responsibilities will be to develop the account strategy and annual plan in order to deliver account sales, profit and contribution targets. You will have full P&L responsibility and will be responsible for developing excellent personal relationships with key individuals based at the grocery client.

You will work with Channel Marketing Manager to develop promotional and category opportunities and will review account performance and propose action as appropriate. You will also be responsible for actively identifying new sources of sales growth within the customer and managing retail brand specific innovation to ensure overall profit contribution.

You will currently be a successful grocery NAM, preferably within food and drink, and will be strong in achieving results and setting goals, you will thrive at influencing. You must have a strong commercial focus, good analytical skills and a tenacious and driven attitude. This is an office based role within the Midlands.
