National Account Manager – World leading Brand
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious National Account Manager for a world leading brand. You must offer Blue Chip training, FMCG experience (food or non food) and a consistent and progressive career track record.
As world market leader in their Product Category my client has enjoyed explosive growth in the UK, rapidly becoming the number one brand by volume. To build on its successes, the company is now expanding their UK team in anticipation of further growth.
Overview:
Reporting to the Head of UK Sales, you will take overall responsibility for managing and developing a portfolio of high profile UK retail accounts ensuring you exceed sales and margin targets, whilst offering first class service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of high profile retail accounts and build and maintain customer relationships in order to ensure excellent customer relations.
• Form and maintain strong and credible business relationships with customers to achieve ambitious sales and volume targets
• Build and develop relationships internally within other departments to ensure personal and business objectives are achieved.
• Manage all aspects of the customer relationship from identifying new opportunities for growth through to category management of ongoing product listings.
• Maintain full profit and loss responsibility for managed accounts, driving growth by increasing throughput.
• Take accountability for head office negotiation and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual business plans to ensure stock availability, brand presence and that maximum sales are achieved
• Be an integral team player in the national account team.

• Able to demonstrate both strategic development and hands on management of a relevant customer base.
• Numerically & statistically proficient
• Flexible and fluid thinker
• Excellent sales, planning and forecasting ability
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Degree educated with proven national account experience with high profile Retail clients
• At least 3-5 years in a branded Blue Chip consumer business
