Network Management System (NMS) Architect

My client is a highly successful mobile and fixed line telecoms carrier which is part of major European consortium with significant financial backing. They are currently delivering services across the globe with substantial ongoing contracts. Opportunities for career development are excellent.

They now seek and experienced Network Management Systems (NMS) Architect to be responsible for developing the requirements for Network Management Systems (NMS) for fixed and mobile networks. You will lead technical discussions with contractors and to ensure that they deliver against specification OSS systems and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will be responsible for keeping up to date with the latest telecoms technologies and will also become involved in undertaking technical system acceptance and approving any changes to system architecture.

The successful candidate will have strong technical skills in telecoms NMS and OSS technologies including knowledge of commercially available products and best practice methodologies. He or she will have experience of developing innovative technical solutions for OSS and BSS systems as they apply in a telecoms environment and some project management experience would also be of significant benefit. Ideally you will also have some experience of managing test and acceptance programmes for NMS systems. As my client is a global supplier you will have the opportunity to travel internationally.
