A global leader in the provision of innovative products & services, solutions, and consultancy to the mobile operators worldwide.
About the role
Starting with a focus on the UK mobile operators, this role will ultimately reach across Europe. This key, senior individual will clearly outline the practical issues around RAN sharing, illustrating the operational and financial benefits to the CFO and CEO functions of the operators.
Creating clear, tactical guides and highly commercial propositions for the most senior decision makers in the operators, demonstrating the financial worth to their business of network sharing and how my client can become a trusted partner in these key industry projects.
This is not a sales role and does not replicate the work of the existing account team, its fundamental purpose is to tactically position my client with the C level functions as a critical part of their network sharing activities. Your objective will be to produce clear, workable, tactical propositions, rather than provide broad strategic thinking or consultancy.
What we are looking for
Ideally you will have worked on major network sharing projects, most likely for an operator, however your experience may come from a major vendor. Demonstrating a strong understanding of how mobile operators work from a financial perspective i.e.; where assets are, balance sheets, cash flow, what is actually valuable to share holders, how much investment is required etc.
A really strong knowledge of how mobile operators do business is essential.
Operational management, business development, commercial management , are all relevant backgrounds to bring to the role, however, fundamentally, this person’s objective is to position my client effectively and win significant business with UK and European mobile operators.
