This early stage company has been formed by a highly experienced, entrepreneurial team. They have developed a software product suite that transforms how large businesses can analyse and manage a key part of their finances and risk.
The product is potentially industry changing and in today’s climate, it is likely to be a ‘must have’ purchase. There are no directly competitive solutions in the market and the product is addressing a widely acknowledged pain point for businesses. The current embryonic sales team is generating huge interest and opportunity and the company already has some globally significant reference clients.
They wish to hire a number of exceptional New Business Sales Executives to take this product to market. They need to hire individuals with a very strong intellect and the capability to assist with market development activities as well as direct sales.
The product is a high value sale typically to CFO or Head of Risk & Compliance at FTSE 250 companies.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the creation of sales and marketing collateral.
• Develop the key sales messages.
• Identify early prospective customers and cold call them.
• Build a sales plan for the assigned territory.
• Own the full sales cycle and remain involved post-sale to ensure customers become referenceable.
• Assist with defining and documenting the sales process.
• Win early sales and use this experience to build a replicable sales process.
Background and Skills Required:
• Must have a strong academic background – a good degree from a top university is preferred.
• Strong numerate abilities combined with well developed communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Industry sector knowledge of the Pensions, Finance, Banking or Risk and Compliance industry.
• Track record of selling to CFO, Pension Trustees or Heads of Risk and Compliance.
• Hands-on experience of high value Software or Finance products or services sales.
• Able to manage long, complex sales cycles.
• Knowledge of software licensing and commercial issues.
• Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience of sales campaign and account planning.
• Self starter capable of working relatively autonomously.
• High energy, multi tasking – a natural evangelist.
You must be a UK / EU National or already be resident in the UK and have a current Work Permit.
Qualifying Questions:
1. Have you experience of selling high value software or complex financial services to CFO’s, Heads of Risk and compliance etc?
2. Have you a track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets?
3. Do you have a good degree from a high quality university?
4. Are you numerate and comfortable understanding and selling complex finance based products?
