My client is a fast-growing, independent communications service provider. They focus on providing customers with innovative solutions and unparalleled customer service. This focus has allowed them to profitably build a large base of loyal customers with combined annual revenues of over £30m. .
They are now looking for a bright, hungry and creative Sales Executive to take the company into new areas both in terms of customers and service offerings. You will be responsible for prospecting for new customers within agreed target markets, developing an understanding of the customer's business and requirements, and then working with bid and technical teams to develop a winning proposition for the client. This will involve complex, multi-layer selling and a highly consultative style of working. This is not selling minutes on a network!
The successful candidate will probably be qualified to at least degree level or equivalent with a strong numerical understanding, able to understand complex business models. He or she will have a track record of achievement selling complex products or services in the telecoms or IT sectors and will demonstrate a consultative, listening style. As a person, you will probably think differently to your current colleagues and will be looking for the chance to join an innovative, growing business that will provide genuine earnings potential and the chance to really make your mark.
