NPD Project Manager – Mobile Applications

The Role
The role is responsible for managing new product development projects within the Mobile Applications and Gateways team, ensuring delivery on time and to budget, and meeting agreed specifications. You will track and monitor multiple projects concurrently and report progress to the Product Manager and Programme Director.

The Project Manager will drive the new product development lifecycle process through concept, development, design, implementation and launch / release, identifying and managing inter-dependencies between projects. You will also be responsible for the project management and delivery of a variety of projects such as first of a kind/ new releases and high risk/ high profile projects.

The role requires a combination of project and product management expertise and offers prospective candidates the opportunity to work in a mobile software environment, working with customers who have very specific and unique needs and suppliers who have specific skills.
You
- Demonstrable experience of Project Management in a mobile software environment with a successful track record in project delivery.
- Experience of managing change control, as well as risk and issue management in a PRINCE 2/ APM environment.
- Demonstrable experience of either Product Management or Product Development
- Financial skills – understanding investment appraisals, financial modelling and budget tracking
