City based investment bank seek a OLAP Developer (OLAP Development with Sybase Reporting Services & Java) Work alongside the consultancy team to deliver a global OLAP Tool solution. Gain a detailed understanding of user requirements around the views they require on SMS and deliver results globally and across product. Gain knowledge and understanding of the global Sales business in order to contribute fully to the development of the new SMS system. The MIS Developer role will work within the European Equity Sales Technology team. The role will require strong development experience along with good client-facing skills. Flexibility and adaptability are essential characteristics, owing to the often changing requirements of the business. The primary focus of the role will be developing a new OLAP Tool interacting with the SMS system alongside the Refactoring program. Experience of OLAP is required alongside previous experience of a Refactoring project. You will need strong experience of working on a large OLAP project. Be delivery focussed and work to agreed timelines with a proven Development background. You will be able to build relationships across all areas. Experience of refactoring projects and Revenue Reporting. You will deliver OLAP across regions. Migrate dependency away from existing SMS system. Ensure the system is supportable in all regions.
