Operational Risk Consultant

Our global banking client are currently looking to recruit an Operational Risk Manager for their international transaction services arm. This area of the business provides cash management, liquidity management, information services, merchant services, and commercial card & trade solutions to meet their customers needs. With clients based in the UK, Netherlands, Western Europe, CEEMEA , Americas and Asia Pacific this is a truly international business.

In this exciting role you will be responsible for maintaining effective management frameworks that enable the consistent identification, assessment, management, monitoring and reporting of operational risks

Key Duties:

• Supporting the creation of new agreed programmes of Operational Risk Testing and agreeing how to implement them.

• Working closely with the business in the delivery of Baseline Operational Risk Assessments.

• Support the business and functions in identifying key risks, controls and tests.

Essential Experience

• Previous experience within a business control, compliance, risk or audit function
• Knowledge, understanding and experience of Operational Risk Assessment
• Banking background preferable

This will be a short term contractor role ( 3-6 Months) however due to a large volume of work is likely to be for at least 9-12 months.
