Operational Risk Manager

Leading city based Bank seeks a Operational Risk Manager to represent Operational Risk, adhere to the agreed project plans and approach and support Operational Risk in the roll-out of Operational Risk Assessments.

You will report to the Chief Risk Officer and take responsibility for maintaining effective management frameworks that enable the consistent identification, assessment, management, monitoring and reporting of operational risks.

Your responsibilities will include:
•Represent Operational Risk
•Adhere to the agreed project plans and approach
•Support Operational Risk in the roll-out of Operational Risk Assessments
•Work closely with business and functions to deliver comprehensive Baseline Operational Risk Assessments
•Support business and functions in identifying key risks, controls and associated tests
•Help Operational Risk identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
•Participate in training and briefing activities to ensure ongoing awareness of Operational Risk framework requirements

You are required to have previous experience within a Business Control, Compliance, Risk or Audit function and solid knowledge, understanding and experience of Operational Risk Assessment
