Operational Risk Partner

We have a high profile vacancy within our client, one of the leading and largest financial organisations in the UK

We are recruiting for an Operational Risk Partner to support the Director. This is a fantastic opportunity within the fastest growing area in the business.

As a member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for driving effective and commercial risk management within the specific business area.

Sitting within the business, reporting jointly into the business area MD and the Head of Risk, you will

Work with the central risk teams to ensure that the risks and issues you identify, assess and action are clearly assigned ownership and ensure risk is clearly defined, effectively communicated and adhered to
Driving risk awareness providing expert guidance
Ensure the risk framework is robust and consistent with the overall Framework adopted across the business area
Provide expert guidance on risk, sourcing support from the central risk teams as appropriate

To apply you will have sound experience of operational risk within a banking organisation, and knowledge of regulations, preferably in an online banking environment as you will need to identify risk for and will be heavily involved in fraud prevention. Good communication and negotiating skills will be necessary.

Due to the nature of the business area, sound IT skills with a genuine interest and knowledge in web base platforms is essential
