Operations Director, Electro- Mechanical Manufacturing
North East, circa £55,000
An excellent opportunity has arisen with for a pro-active and forward thinking operation's professional to lead all aspects of the manufacturing operation within one of the UK's leading mechanical and electro mechanical manufacturers. Based in the North East and reporting to the Managing Director you will be an active member of the senior management team in ensuring the successful and profitable expansion of the company.
Key operational responsibilities will include;
•Management of the supply-chain, including 3rd party relationships, material sourcing and negotiation
•Manufacturing planning and management, production engineering, process improvement and new product introduction
•HR management of the operations team and the development of production systems and procedures.
Applications are invited from individuals with:
•Previous executive responsibility for operations
•Electro-mechanical manufacturing experience
•Excellent experience of supply-chain management.
•A proven track record of driving new product introduction
•Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen and Six Sigma techniques.
•Budgetary responsibility for all operations related costs.
