East Midlands - Home Based
A nationwide retailer is looking for a Head of Retail Operations.
This Executive appointment is looking for an individual to deliver the strategic plan of the business whilst continuing to deliver financial results, and lead a team through inspirational leadership whilst setting and cascading clear goals & objections.
The accountabilities include -
* Full responsibility for retail operations c20 large units
* Responsible for the sales and operations of new & existing stores
* Introduce and establish retail disciplines within the Centres
* support and guide Centre Managers to drive these
* Coach, guide and mentor the Commercial Management team
* Liaise and improve communication between the Operations & Head Office
* Working with other head office central functions to drive and deliver sales performance through talent management & management of operational costs.
* Budget preparation and control, including loss prevention and maximising operational efficiency.
This role will be suitable for a retail professional at a Operations Director, Divisional or Regional level depending on the size of the business and must have past. Backgrounds that are of particular interest include - DIY, Hospitality Gardening or Outdoor experience. You must be seen as an influential leader who can share the vision with the whole retail estate as well as being able to communicate with to the other Directors & the MD.
