Operations Manager

Our client is a not for profit educational organisation engaged in a major attempt to collate and popularise Muslim heritage, focusing on publishing content and conducting campaigns to raise global awareness.
They need an Operations Manager to drive all their activities, ensuring successful delivery and maximum staff productivity.
The aims of the organisation are to:
Raise global awareness of the importance of Muslim heritage and its mostly unaccounted contribution to current world civilisation.
Promote better understanding between Muslims and non-Muslims through education.
Research and present evidence to fill the gaps in the knowledge of the history of science.
The responsibilities of the Operations Manager will include:
Co-ordinate the execution of the Annual Projects Plan.
Drive and monitor the progress of all projects.
Manage annual budget.
Develop new projects.
Ensure productivity of staff.
Fund raising and sponsorship.
Media relations and publicity.
Report to the Board of Trustees.
To be successful in this post you will need at least 3 years management experience, preferably gained within a media publishing environment or similar.
Must have BSc, BA or higher.
Experience in managing multiple projects.
Media relations experience a distinct advantage.
Experience in securing relationships with funding partners.
Key skills required:
Strong web/internet skills.
Knowledge of financial statements.
Experience of managing budgets & cash flow.
Project management skills.
Detail oriented.
Strong communication skills.
