Packaging Innovation Manager

Packaging Manager, urgently required for a Senior level position within a major US multinational Medical Devices company in Cork.

Responsibilities:

+To lead and facilitate the International Packaging Innovation team
+To provide Leadership and Engineering support for activities relating to Packaging Innovation
+Responsible for liaising with our Global Packaging Innovation team in the US
+Provide strategic direction in relevant areas of responsibility (packaging) on local or global initiatives,
+Prepare and deliver annual capital projects on an as need basis for final review and approval
+Ensure awareness and achievement of all regulatory and compliance activities within the Packaging team, to include FDA, ISO and other Global RA standards and guideline

Skills:
+Degree in Engineering is required. Preferably Packaging related desired.
+Proven leadership experience in managing an Engineering/technical discipline or team essential
+Substantial Packaging Engineering support in a manufacturing or new product's function within the medical devise or similar high technology environment preferred.
+Project management experience in a team based environment is required.
+Excellent presentation and communication skills are required. Individual must possess the ability to present and represent at the various levels both inside and outside the organization.
