A Global Financial Services Company based in Glasgow is urgently seeking a Security PKI (public key infrastructure) Specialist.

The PKI Smartcards Security Specialist will be responsible for supporting the design, development and maintenance of Security solutions and to provide 4th line PKI support.

Responsibilities of the PKI Smartcards Security Specialist include:

- Producing PKI (HLDs/LLDs) designs to demonstrate the degree to which the design satisfies the security requirement.
- Security Accreditation and Assurance
- To evidence technical gaps in the design and SRS mapping and to justify compromises or mitigations to these technical gaps.
- Assure security related aspects of the system designs, including research and resolution of specific observations registered during Authority QRF of those designs.
- Provide independent Engineering review of Security Accreditation/Assurance deliverables.
- Research identified technical security risks and issues through to resolution, typically in the form of whitepapers and conducting dialogue in vehicles such as TSWGs or security surgeries. This includes provision of responses, on behalf of the Engineering Team, to results of specific exercises, such as penetration testing of the solution.
- Act as a focal point for security related design decisions and for resolving conflicts between accreditation requirements and design and development teams in relation to PKI
- Review and support Trial Team security test scripts, evidence statements and results.

The PKI Smartcards Security Specialist requires the following knowledge and skills:

-Demonstrable understanding of MoD security standards and conventions.
- Report writing.
- Broad range of technical knowledge to augment security expertise
- Strong awareness and understanding of PKI standards and PKI Hierachies
- Smartcard technology
- Windows Server platform
- Experience and Understanding of the Systems Integration issues surrounding PKI deployment and use
