This is a remarkable opportunity for a talented and experience town planner.
The opportunity exists with a highly successful property consultancy with a national presence. A highly successful national property consultancy is currently recruiting Carter Jonas is a leading firm of property consultants with a network of 31 offices across England & Wales.
With a total staff of over 300, the firm employs professionals from a range of disciplines including planners, architects, project managers, property surveyors, waste management experts, building surveyors, development consultants, auctioneers, conservation experts and CAD and mapping technicians. There are currently 13 chartered town planners, two of which are in the Cambridge office and will be under your supervision.
The planning department covers a variety of sectors and has a combination of their own clients and clients from other parts of the firm. Their main areas of expertise are:
-Planning application for a range of developments;
-Appeals;
-Public Sector Planning;
-Strategic Planning;
-Environmental Impact Assessments;
-Renewable Energy
-Minerals and Waste;
-Urban Design; and
-Sustainability Appraisals
The position has arisen due to the firm's desire to grow the planning division, particularly in the Cambridgeshire area. The role will be to lead the Cambridge planning team and to grow the business.
To apply for this role you must be a very technically competent planner with a desire to provide the best professional advice and a demonstrable track record in winning new business. In order to fulfil these criteria the successful candidate will probably be from a private sector background and have a broad range of planning experience.
