Planning & Strategy Manager
South East England - South East
This is a fantastic opportunity within this well known, market leader for a Strategy Manager. You will be responsible for supporting the strategic planning process, leading strategic and business improvement projects and evaluating value creation innovation initiatives.
Responsibilities -
• Lead the identification, review and analysis of strategic issues and business improvement projects
• Enhance strategic decision making process
• Partner with business functions to develop the strategic planning process
• Assist the rollout of the planning process
• Facilitate the development of corporate strategy and prioritisation of business planning activities
• Evaluate and make recommendations regarding the strategic fit and potential value creation of innovation business opportunities
• Key contacts within the business will be Board, Innovation Director, Finance team, and line Managers
Requirements -
• Graduate with second degree ideally MBA or financial qualification
• Proven experience of strategy development ideally within retail/FMCG sector or consultancy
• Analytical with business analysis and financial modelling skills
• Commercially aware with a good grasp of the ‘realities’ of business management
• Demonstrable project management skills and practical results orientated approach
• Ability to forge key relationships at a leadership level
• You will be expected to demonstrate capability in managing and influencing effective working relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with others and influence key people within the company and externally.
