Policy & Strategy for the Public Sector

They provide strategic recommendations on culture, performance and costs to public sector organisations, developing and implementing strategy, organisational design and financial effectiveness. And they do this by blending private sector rigour with public sector values in a collaborative, supportive style.
A mid/senior-ranking consultant will join the team to bring innovative advice on efficency and cost reduction issues to (mainly) local government and local government-related organisations in areas such as
shared services and other partnering models
systems thinking and Lean/Six Sigma
business transformation
organisational development
customer focus and service improvement

The appointed consultant will come from a successful career which includes all of the following:

working in or with UK local government and related organisations
experience with a consulting or relevant policy advisory body
business development or sales expertise directed at public sector clients
a personal network of contacts in the local government and related sectors
