Portfolio Test Manager

Portfolio Test Manager is responsible for the delivery of testing on allocated programmes. They report to the Programme Test Manager/Portfolio Head of Testing. Key accountabilities:-·Review & revise Planning & Estimates documentation, engage 3rd party testing vendors both on and offshore to ensure all testing is carried out within the Test Management Framework. Revise Test Strategy documents and create Test Approach documentation. Manage a programme comprising of smaller testing projects, working with all relevant Test Management Functions to deliver the change. Help manage interfaces across the different suppliers on programmes
Ensure the Programme Test Strategy is updated and baselined to reflect changes to the project risk profile, schedule, testing processes etc. Create, manage and maintain project plans·Coordinate and manage accordingly, the testing resources and activities for the test phases defined in the Test Strategy. Ensure that testing conducted by Third Party Suppliers' adheres to the Project Test Strategy, that it is executed as planned, that support is provided to them for problems encountered and that evidence exists to verify their results.·Ensure the defect management process is followed and correct priorities / severities are assigned. Ensure all entry and exit criteria reviews are planned, executed and documented. Ensure that all testing risks are regularly reviewed, documented and communicated to PM and LTM. Escalate testing issues and concerns to the Project Manager/ Programme Test Manager/Portfolio Head of Testing. Ensure production of metrics as defined in the Project Test Strategy. Coordinate updating of project workbooks (or equivalent) ensuring data quality is as expected·Liaison with on and offshore delivery leads·Representing Programme/Project level meetings·Reporting and delivery of daily, weekly & monthly reports to stakeholders. Configuration management of test assets·Ensuring that all test results are checked and signed off. Any knowledge of Payments and Card services would be highly desirable but not essential.
