Practice Nurse

We are currently looking to appoint an F/G grade Practice Nurse in the Middlesex area on a permanent full or part time basis.

This is an opportunity for a RGN to manage the full range of treatments available within the practice nurse clinics. This is to include Health Screening of patients and the undertaking of specimen samples and diagnostic tests. You will also perform immunisations for all ages and diseases and provide clinical duties such as ear syringing, treatment for cuts and bruises, dressings of wounds and removal of sutures.

This position has the gratification of calling upon your knowledge as an experienced Nurse where you will advise patients on issues such as Health Promotion inclusive of smoking, alcohol consumption, exercise and diet. You will provide information and advice on family planning and to patients concerning risk of heart disease and cancer. You will also be involved in assisting the senior nurse in running chronic disease management clinics.


The suitable applicant will be computer literate and maintain administration duties around the clinic such as house keeping and stock takes. The suitable candidate needs to be an accountable professional with strong communication skill and team spirit. A competitive salary is available to the successful applicant.
