Pre-Sales Engineer
Windsor - London, South East, Thames Valley
A Pre-Sales Engineer isurgently required by my client a multi billion dollar org. You will be responsible for supporting the Partner- Alliances team and Sales Account Managers in the area of technical sales. This is a fairly technical Presales position and whilst not expecting developers a good degree of Java or .Net exposure in addition to the requisite customer facing experience is a major advantage. Ideal candidates will either be in existing technical Pre-Sales roles or will come from a Consulting background looking to move into Pre-Sales. It is a pre-requisite that candidates will have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and previous experience of producing demonstrations and proof of concepts, as is the ability to influence and negotiate successfully
2 Stage Interview process: Stage 1 will include meeting the Technical Solutions Manager and HR Manager followed by a Technical Test (Aptitude for Programming). Stage 2 will be a presentation to the TSM + Sales Director + another Pre-Sales Engineer. A knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS), would be considered a distinct advantage.
