Pre-Sales Support Specialist - Asset Control: My client, a leader in their field, whose technology supports the entire life cycle of data management including enrichment, sourcing, cleansing, distribution, storage applications and research services, is now seeking an experienced and forward thinking Presales Supprt Specialist with a working knowledge of various commercial data packages (Reuters, Bloomberg, Thomson, Factset)
Pre-Sales Support Specialists provide expert-level support to the sales staff in their commercial efforts. This includes engaging clients, delivering presentations and demos, answering technical questions and responding to RFIs (Requests For Information) and RFPs (Requests For Proposal). The prospective candidate will have a great deal of client involvement, involving travel. They will also be instrumental in taking feedback from clients back to the development organization as part of the Product Management process.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the financial industry, including different asset classes, data types, trading and operational processes.
Working knowledge of European and American security rules and regulations governing financial markets and proficiency in one or more European languages (French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch) is highly desirable.
