Pre Sales Systems Engineer - SAN, NAS, iSCSI

As an award-winning, pioneering and innovative organisation, our client who has merged with one of the worlds largest Enterprise hardware vendors enabling them to maintain and enhance their position as a leading data storage systems supplier. With market leading SAN and Virtualisation products, they are set to go from strength to strength and this is a very exciting time to join them. They now require Systems Engineers whose experience will enable them to carry out Pre Sales support throughout the Sales cycle including development and implementation of technical sales strategies, delivery of technical presentations, product demonstrations, customer and reseller training, and support for customer product evaluations. You will use your technical knowledge to drive sales, ensuring customer satisfaction through proper expectation management - on occasions post-sales duties may be required and you must be a self-starter, able to seek opportunities to advance sales and industry presence. The ideal candidate needs to demonstrate a willingness to constantly improve skills to meet/exceed industry requirements - keeping abreast of the market as a whole, as well as previous experience in a Pre Sales role (ideally with a competitive vendor/major reseller) with demonstrable experience of SANs, NAS, storage management, storage test tools, back-up/recovery, UNIX, Linux, NT/Windows Server or other Operating Systems as well as Ethernet and IP Networking technologies.
