Our client is a leading IT Organisation and is now seeking an experienced Presales Manager to be responsible for Indirect Channels across the UK - specifically Service Providers and Partners.
Working with the Channel / Indirect Sales teams, you will be tasked with maximising potential revenue and building relationships whilst leading a team of experienced and talented Presales Consultants.
The Presales Manager - Channel - Storage, Servers, Networking will also be responsible for:
- creating plans relating to targeting opportunities, utilising resources, account mapping etc
- ensuring our clients business direction is adhered to - maintaining best business practices, optimum performance etc
- assign technical expertise as and when required to assist in business opportunity wins
- manage team - developing skills both personally and technically, keeping abreast of all 'product' developments etc
- work with Sales and Marketing both internally and within the Channel to maximise all potential revenue opportunities
- own the Presales contribution to business results
The Presales Manager - Channel - Storage, Servers, Networking will require the following:
- a demonstrable career history within a similar environment, with proven success of achieving target - financial and MBO
- management experience - including managing a team target and measuring individual successes etc leading from the front and ensuring skill sets are matching the business needs of the organisation
- be used to managing budgets, forecasting, liasing with Sales and other internal departments
- probably degree educated, having working for a leading vendor, systems integrator or consultancy - you have a strong range of experience across the Storage, Server and Networking environments
- be able to articulate technical solutions in laymen terms - have strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- have a great understanding of the movers and shakers in the UK market place
