Pricing Manager

The overall purpose of this interesting vacancy is to generate product performance metric reports and present past performance to goals/actuals and provide "what if" analysis. You will need to establish the best method for reporting competitive pricing, e.g. field sales reporting, web searches, etc. You will need to be able to recommend change for pricing of renewal business, new product offers, and long-terms contracts with major customers. Another key element of the role is to monitor outcome of promotions for volume and profitability at varying price levels. Comparing forecasts to actual results is also a key requirement.

Project management will include analysing and interpreting contract terms and conditions in order to establish action steps and timelines.

The ideal candidate will currently be employed in a pricing role and have a solid understanding and experience in financial analysis, with a particular emphasis on margins, and will ideally having some experience in the construction/trade industry sectors. An advanced knowledge of MS Excel is essential, together with proficient use of SAP. Some project management experience will be advantageous as there will be a requirement to effectively prioritise and management multiple business cases.
