Principle Account Manager
Reading - Thames Valley
Our client is a UK subsidiary of a major US electronics corporation, with a strong presence in both military and civil aerospace and allied markets. They are currently looking for a Principal Account Manager for the Middle East Area.
The Principal Account Manager will:
-be responsible for the sale of company products, services and solutions to assigned accounts within a given sub-set of a region:
-Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of manufactured products, services, commodities etc.
-Develop and manage the budget for a given region sub-set: Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
-Develop contacts with existing and potential customers in a region sub-set.
-Understand existing and anticipated customer requirements and identify company products and services to fill such requirements: Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts; maintain technical proficiency and consult with prospective customers regarding use of company products and services.
-Be to prepare sales plans and campaigns, business plans, and product development plans for a sub-set of a region; create sales presentations; quote prices; and delivery dates.
-Investigate new applications or improvements to products.
-Interpret and execute policies and procedures that affect subordinate functional area.
The Principal Account Manager experience will include:
-Have a good understanding of FMF/FMS processes and procedures.
-Previous experience with the Middle Eastern cultures and ways.
-Understand export compliance laws.
-Able to lead business development activities through Decision Points meetings and coordinate activities of marketing.
Location – To be discussed with candidate
Salary - £50,000 - £70,000
