Based mainly within the USA and the UK, their reputation for excellence is matched by few. They are currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager to join their base in Dorset.

Key responsibilities of the Procurement Manager:
+ Identify and establish supply chain strategies for new projects
+ Provide support to commodity managers with regard to contract negotiation and supplier reviews
+ Manage the implementation of strategies
+ Co-ordinate supplier involvement

Skills and Experience required for the Procurement Manager role:
+ Degree qualified of with equivalent experience in a relevant discipline
+ Extensive experience working within a supply chain or procurement role within the UK defence industry
+ Experience of introducing new suppliers
+ Project management experience
+ Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills

Due to the nature of the Procurement Manager role, a current SC security clearance or the ability to obtain this clearance will be required.
