Procurement Systems Development Manager
Middlesex - South East
Our client a leading FMCG manufacturer is looking for a Procurement Systems Development Manager to sustain and improve procurement processes to provide and maintain effective and efficient operational & administrative procedures that support the execution of strategic sourcing plans, maintenance of procurement data including contracts, accurate reporting and forecasting sustainability of and improvement of IT systems. You will champion sourcing development led initiatives across the group eg representing Procurement on the Supply Chain sustainability forum, defining and implementing a procurement wide approach.
Other responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of contract management / governance systems and processes
- Provide advice and direction to internal customers as well as marketing the company’s use of eSourcing technology to appropriate internal and external stakeholders. Managing the administrative support in relation to the eSourcing technology and ensuring that the hierarchical design, help avenues and templates are fit for purpose, to enable successful use of the tool.
- Work with the Sourcing Development Manager to identify strategic sourcing opportunities to enhance the European procurement function, and lead the continuous review of leading edge market tools and techniques. This will involve attending external Procurement seminars, eProcurement seminars, best practice sharing workshops, developing relationships & extensive networking
- Challenge the organisational structure, determining potential outsourcing and alternative third party providers in order to support continuous improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of the company’s procurement. Develop implementation plans that may result from investigations and ensure that required resource is allocated and managed appropriately to ensure the successful delivery of any projects.
