They are now looking for an experience Product Manager to define and lead the development of a solution for delivering the latest, most up-to-date maps for mobile and internet users worldwide.
Description:
As Product Manager, Map Updates you will be joining a fast growing international team of product managers and software engineers and will lead the definition and development of this product. You will define the requirements for the map update solution, drive its development and manage the delivery off map updates. You will work closely with development and QA teams as well as marketing in order to ensure successful launch of a product that addresses real consumer needs. In this role you will have a real impact on customer map usage and user experience worldwide.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in software development, service creation or product development/management.
* Previous experience in digital maps / navigation a distinct advantage
* Solid background in GIS, digital cartography or location based application development is required
* A strategic thinker, able to drive new features forward together with internal and external partners
* Solid documentation and project management skills and excellent communication skills
* Fluency in English (written and spoken)
* Degree level education (or equivalent) in relevant subject (e.g. computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering etc)
Special conditions:
We are looking for the best possible candidate for this role and as such are able to consider applications from candidates internationally. We are looking for an individual who is willing to be based in Germany and my client will offer a relocation package should the successful candidate not currently be living in Germany.
