Product Technical Manager - Food

A leading retailer based in London is looking for a Food Technical Manager.
This is a senior role in the team, reporting to the head of technology. Main responsibilities will be to plan, coordinate, develop and deliver all brand product plans for the food category with emphasis on quality, safety and supplier performance. Also to work with the innovation teams to deliver the NPD plan at all times putting the customer first.
The ideal candidate will have held a senior or management technologist role within a retailer or an FMCG supplier. Strong team leadership, organisation and technical knowledge is essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will have at least a degree in food science / nutrition, and have experience in health & safety, legalities and supplier audits.
