Location: Thames Valley – some UK travel required

Salary Up to £95,000 + bonus + benefits

This major UK PLC is embarking on a major multi-million pound programme to implement a comprehensive group-wide security and identity access solution. They need to identify a high energy, dynamic programme manager who has the talent and gravitas to lead this initiative to success.

Responsibilities:
The Programme Manager will be responsible for the end to end delivery of a group-wide Identity and Access Management Programme including initial scoping, Business Case and delivery execution.

• Managing a large project team consisting of dedicated and part-time business resources.
• Responsible for leading all aspects of the programme including requirements definition and final Business Case.
• Liaison with senior stakeholders across the business to obtain buy-in and implementation commitment.
• Manage a formal vendor selection and procurement process.
• Technology implementation and testing.
• Process re-engineering across multiple business units and group functions.

Skills and Background required:
• Proven track record of success in delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects, preferably with both a business and IS focus.
• Familiarity with the issues around large-scale security or access management programmes and technologies.
• A demonstrable track record of leading and taking real ownership of a team.
• Full understanding and successful experience of Stakeholder Management within a complex Blue Chip business.
• Outstanding communication style (verbal and written) and excellent inter-personal and influencing skills (working with Senior Management of a FTSE 100 company).
• Driven to exceed expectations with the ability to work within a complex business.
• Track record of leading, influencing and managing change within a complex environment.
• Detailed knowledge / experience of Prince II Project Methodology.
