This role with the In Vitro Diagnostics group is an excellent opportunity for an experienced programme manager with ambition! Whilst specific tasks will change with project requirements, your fundamental aim will be to successfully manage projects from proposal stages through to final product delivery. In direct liaison with clients understand and develop programmes for large diagnostic instrument development and life sciences instrument development, building and managing the project team and keeping clients up to date with technical and financial progress.
You will also support the diagnostics business development function, exhibiting and presenting at key conferences and representing the Diagnostics Group at sales meetings. You will use your strong technical expertise and knowledge to develop relationships with current and future clients.
You already have a proven track record delivering large complex multidisciplinary projects to time and budget within a regulated environment (ISO 13485, QSR or similar) as well as experience of managing multidisciplinary teams. A first oral and written communicator your enthusiasm for this market sector is self-evident. If you have direct experience of in-vitro diagnostics from Consultancy or within a products company will be a distinct advantage as will exposure to taking a medical or other product from concept through to launch.
