Programme Manager – Mobile Information Solutions

The Role
This role is responsible for providing the overall management of customer delivery activities, delivering customised solutions in mobile information systems. The role focus is on customer programme and project management but also holds key responsibility for provision of customer builds and service design elements to support the project delivery. You would be presenting, discussing and translating, at all levels, the elements that make up a successful customer project delivery. You would interact with 3rd party suppliers, internal cross functional teams and key customer contacts and will need to support customer facing engagements. The post holder will also manage a small number of programme managers and be responsible for their wider community of project management teams.

You
PRINCE 2 accredited
Experienced in managing multiple, geographically diverse projects/programmes simultaneously
Strong governance skills and experience
Demonstrable track record of delivering programmes of £1M+ value
Strong man management skills, both direct and virtual
Excellent relationship management skills with key internal and external stakeholders
An appreciation of the technical underpinnings of mobile information systems and application development processes
An appreciation and understanding of the nuances of project delivery to the public sector
Experience in working with Public Safety of Government sector desirable
