Programme Manager - Transformation
2 year fixed term (Up to £50K PA - Negotiable and with possibility of extension)
Reporting Directly to the Director of Transformation
Purpose and duties of the position:
* Design and manage the transformation programme processes.
* Develop and implement the future vision and service delivery model as well as robust quality. systems to effectively manage it.
* Liaise with internal staff, partners, local and central government and stakeholders.
* Develop a Programme Management framework.
* Monitor, manage, mitigate, escalate and resolve critical issue and risks.
* Resource Management
Essential skills and experience:
* Prince2 or MSP
* Ability to drive future direction for organisation (ideally in a public sector context)
* MS Project
* Extensive experience in Programme Management for a customer led organisation during a period of transformation.
* Experience of financial management, budget formation, forecasting and control processes.
Desirable:
* Public sector experience
* Degree
* ICT service delivery
* Customer focused Programme Management experience
