Project Director

The company, a joint venture between an established and profitable multi-discipline consulting engineering practice and a North West based borough council, was established in order to improve business services across the council, bring new jobs to the region and also to help regenerate the borough through managing substantial investment.

Part of their remit is to improve the property portfolio of the borough – both for the public and private sector – managing substantial design and construct projects. As Project Manager you will manage a small team of project managers and design services personnel handling projects from concept through to handover with values up to £20m each. You will bring best practice into the team, developing both processes and systems as well as the personnel.

Ideally an experienced professional from within the project/property services arena the successful candidate will have a substantial record of managing project portfolios within the multi-disciplined infrastructure arena. Probably at Senior Project Manager or Associate level within a professional services firm at present you will be looking to take the next step of your career to Director status.
