PROJECT LEAD

Our client is a central London based bank and they have a 3 year general ledger implementation programme running. This particular team is working on the build of the accounting rules engine. They need a hands on Project Lead to manage and motivate a team which will be undertaking the below activities :

- The analysis and mapping of data attributes
- The design and development of accounting rules, ensuring compliance with IFRS and the operating Chart of Accounts
- Working with relevant Finance teams to verify accounting rules and to provide the results of the data analysis.
- Testing of accounting outputs into the new platform
- Effective planning and monitoring of tasks
- Ensuring effective communication and working practises with IT.

Special Requirements

- Qualified accountant
- Accounting rules engine experience, highly desirable
- Relevant experience in data transformation and in general ledger finance change projects
- Proven experience of managing a team
- Highly skilled using Microsoft Access or Excel
- Able to utilise own initiative to resolve issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work pro-actively and unsupervised
