Project Leader – US Multinational – Stuttgart Area – Attractive Salary and Benefits
Client: US multinational technology products manufacturer with design, manufacturing (high mix and medium / high volume - broad range of manufacturing processes), and customer support operations in EMEA. Role – Project Leader – to lead projects within the mechanics department
Responsibilities:
· Project management and technical lead of a cross functional team developing and maintaining actuators for valves and dampers for building automation use.
· Leading international project teams trough all steps of a development cycle starting with Voice of the Customer, requirement specification, schedule and cost planning, design and development and introduction to manufacturing.
· Concept and design for mechanical parts like housings, clutches, shafts, bearings and gears.
· Generation of technical documentation, specification and Bill of Material's
· Tolerance calculation and analysis using Six Sigma rules and tools.
Person - higher weighting more important:
10 – Master degree of mechanical engineering with at least 5 years of professional work experience in this area.
10 – Extensive project management experience with good knowledge of all elements of the development process
10 – Technical expertise of the design of electro-mechanical products
10 – Design experience of plastic molding and use of sheet metal
10 - Ability to concurrently manage multiple tasks and plan activities and schedules.
10 - Experience of using 3D CAD modeling and simulation.
10 – Ability to lead and motivate a team
10 – Excellent level of communication skills both written and verbal
10 – Fluency in English and German is a must
9 – Self motivated, with strong analytical skills
9 – Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages
9 – Experience in a US multinational
