Our Client is a multi- billion global provider of IT based solutions across all business sectors. With substantial growth plans and strong market penetration, the Company is undergoing a ‘root and branch’ review of its legacy systems, ramping up to the new solutions, including a major SAP implementation.
Working closely with the Global Supply Chain Director and across all operational and functional departments, the appointee will be responsible for coordinating activities across all business teams. This will involve management of all planned activities, including the central command centre and coordinating and instructing these teams on planned actions. He/she will monitor and manage the new processes and systems through to the eventual ‘go live’ period defining the critical path.
Clearly, this role demands inspirational leadership and team building capabilities in an highly diverse, complex and disparate supply chain organisation. Excellent communication skills will be essential at all levels and you must possess proven project management and planning skills. Deeply experienced in the implementation of SAP you will have a demonstrable track record of managing similar projects with demanding Clients in the logistics sector. Knowledge of a second European language will be desirable, but above all, you will be the calming influence in a rapidly growing business.
