Project Management Team Manager
Hampshire - South Central / Coast
Leading Electronics organisation require an experienced Manager of Project Manager's to join their expanding team in Hampshire.
This role will involve the management of the division's Project Management team. In this role the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for managing and guiding the project managers within the development organisation to the successful delivery of new products, on time, on cost and on quality within the internal Product Life Cycle Process.
The successful candidate will be degree educated (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline, and should have strong and demonstrable project management experience, preferably with formal project management qualifications / accreditations. The ability to manage people working within a high pressure environment also needs to be demonstrated.
Duties will include people management, resource planning, developing standard tools and techniques to assist the team in their tasks, manage capital and expense purchases for the team, maintain a watching brief over new and emerging test technologies, identify process improvement and skill development ideas and ensuring adherence to the relevant stages of the Product Life Cycle Process.
Ideally candidates will have a proven track record of leading and motivating an experienced team in a high technology environment with excellent leadership capability. Travel will be involved within this role to a wide number of locations globally. Desirable experience would include knowledge of the Storage Industry (hard disk drives, RAID controllers, storage subsystems, etc).
Salary for this role is £55-60k per annum and benefits include family healthcare, pension, 25 days holiday and life assurance.
