Our client is a global leader in the provision of fully integrated technology solutions to the gaming industry and require a project manager to lead a variety of high profile complex system development, implementation and change projects for one of their most prestigious customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing end-to-end projects of various size and nature including new systems development, systems integration, legacy system conversion, system enhancements and upgrades
• Involvement from initiation through to completion including business analysis, testing, implementation, change management and handover to operations
• Interfacing with internal and external third parties and customers at all levels
• Develop and implement project plans including resourcing requirements and ensuring project team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities
• Managing project budgets ensuring achievement of cost, quality and time requirements
• Ensuring achievement of key project milestones and effective utilisation of staff throughout each project
• Take accountability for own and team actions
• Matrix manage teams of multi-disciplined staff (up to 50 FTE’s on/off shore)
• Tracking and managing project issues and risks through to conclusion
• Progress reporting to key stakeholders both internally and externally (locally and globally)
• Sign-off and closure of projects, reviewing their success and developing process improvements
• Being a key member of the project management leadership team
• Ensuring a positive and professional image is presented both within and outside of the organisation

Key Skills Required include:

• Solid experience in a project management role with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects with a high degree of complexity
• Experience of managing multi-functional on/offshore teams
• Sound understanding of project management methodologies (ie. Prince 2) and application development methodologies (ie Agile / RAD / Iterative development)
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to mentor other junior project managers
• Commercially aware with strong business understanding
• Ability to define and implement project governance frameworks
• Customer facing skills; strong written & verbal communication skills
• Proven experience of developing and implementing process improvements for project management
