With a substantial number of new business wins and with proven methodologies for supply chain improvements, our Client is poised to be the leader in its niche market within food. Already a well respected 3PL, the business has demonstrated its credentials in excellence of service and in innovative logistics solutions. This continuing growth necessitates the appointment of a senior professional who can coordinate and deliver new business implementations.

Working closely with the Sector Director and with functional and operational colleagues, the job holder will have a full and unencumbered remit to analyse, plan and deliver effective methodologies for start ups and implementation to steady state levels. He/she will coordinate all aspects of the contracts, liaising with both customers and internal colleagues to ensure that all resources are available and in place. The Project Manager will lead the process ensuring that appropriate levels of equipment, staff and systems are mobilised.

Already a proven senior warehouse and transport professional your credentials will have been gained in a fast moving retail biased 3PL, ideally, but not essentially within food. You will have proven project management skills, particularly with start ups and pre-planning. A Prince 2 qualification will be especially sought, but above all, you must be able to deliver finite solutions to deadlines, cost and customer satisfaction levels. A strong knowledge of WMS will also be essential, as will your ability to progress within the wider business.
