Proposition Development Managers

The Role

The role holder will be responsible for developing, maintaining and communicating strategy and propositions for a particular market sector. This will include:
oDeveloping the key actions and activities required to implement the plan
oTo lead the detailed research and analysis of the sector to identify opportunities
oTo develop new sales propositions based on research and analysis
oTo work with engineering and other departments to identify existing capabilities that can be leveraged to offer new services
oTo work closely with Business Development to support bid activity and to develop propositions for key customers
oTo continuously assess the market value chain and to identify key areas for future growth in value
oTo lead a small direct team and larger virtual teams to achieve strategic marketing objectives

The Person
oSignificant experience of strategic marketing within the IT or telecoms solutions market
oExperience of working with the Government sector such as health, home affairs, emergency services etc would be advantageous
oUnderstanding of Government procurement processes
oDemonstrable experience of working with large key clients
oSome knowledge of channel marketing would also be of value
oIdeally degree qualified or equivalent with CIM membership also preferred
