About the Role
The Pursuits Director role is a further newly created position my client is looking to hire into their high profile London team. The Pursuits Director will have complete ownership of the Pursuit from kick-off meeting to the actual pitch presentation.
This role involves leading big ticket strategic Pursuits; from assembling the appropriate Pursuit team, through chairing meetings and setting pursuit strategy, heading thought leadership, to being accountable for their outcome. This role will move into a more client facing position over time, with an increasing focus on helping partners proactively generate work through effective positioning and leverage of current relationships and the identification of possible new areas in which business may be won.
Whilst headquartered in London some of the pursuits are with multi nationals - however the level of
international travel is negligible.
What We’re Looking For
You will have an excellent track record in leading and delivering high end strategic pitches, gained within a large professional services firm or similar FTSE 250 firm/ corporate environment. A commercial thinker , you will have proven project management and leadership skills; a strong background in building consensus and coaching, as well as the ability to add something extra. This role requires the ability to mobilise people to act quickly, when needed, and someone who is able to challenge effectively. You will have excellent communication skills and experience of building relationships with C-suite stakeholders. Experience of working with or within a partnership environment is required.
About the Offer
£80,000- £120,000
