QEHS MANAGER
STAFFORDSHIRE - Midlands (East), Midlands (West), North West
As Quality Environmental Health &Safety Manager you would ensure that the company are not compromised by incidents, accidents or non-compliance with local and international laws governing Quality, Environment, Health & Safety (QEH&S). In short, you’ll own and drive the Quality and Focussed Improvement agendas through influencing key stakeholders at all levels within the business.
Location: Midlands
Salary: c65, 000 + Car + benefits package + relocation

For the position of QEHS Manager we are looking for someone that has worked in either a brewing or food packaging environment. You’ll also need a degree or equivalent, plus qualifications in Food Safety (HACCP), Quality (Lead Auditor ISO 9000) and Environmental Audit. Good knowledge of food safety, quality and EHS legislation, including Legionella compliance, is also essential. We’ll additionally expect you to have a firm working knowledge of ISO 18001 and if not already, the ability to learn World Class Manufacturing elements; in particular, statistical process control and Six Sigma techniques. This role is heavily involved in driving compliance through others and therefore we are looking for a candidate with strong influencing skills and the tenacity to force the QEH&S agenda at all levels of the business.
The location of this role is Staffordshire and commutable from Staffordshire and some parts of Staffs and the east & west midlands, however there is an 8k relocation package for candidates living more than 35 miles form site.
