Our client is a leading global engineering, construction and facilities management services company supporting the energy, petrochemicals, government services and civil infrastructure sectors. The company is a leader in many of the growing end-markets it serves.
With ‘Centres of excellence’ in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Consulting, Health & Safety and the Environment, Logistics Management, Programme management, Project management and Project Development our client offers the full solution to its customers. It has a record of world class and award winning delivery.
They have recently opened an office up in Lagos, Nigeria in response to current and future work opportunities. They are currently looking for a Quality Management Leader who wishes to work in Nigeria. Our client will be offering assignments from the UK for periods of up to 3 years.
The Role:
As a Quality Management Leader you will be responsible for:
• The planning, management and coordination of all activities associated with the
construction, installation and commissioning of oil and gas facilities for the Company’s
work program, reporting to the project manager.
• Active liaison between various groups in the project, including engineering, construction
and installation contractors, operations local communities.
• Embrace & apply Company’s Capital Stewardship, Operational Excellence & CPDEP processes & tools
• Responsible for development, implementation & ensuring adherence to Corporate &
Project environmental & safety management programs.
Knowledge and Skills:
An accomplished Quality professional with your experience supported by some professional qualification in Quality Management. A degree in Engineering highly desirable.
Should have experience in Quality Management, design & construction of onshore & offshore oil & gas production facilities.
You should also have experience in oil field, petrochemical, or oil and gas handling projects and a working knowledge of oil and gas quality practices and international codes (ISO9001).
Your experience should include working on at least 3 projects of at least $15 M total construction contract value.
You will be resourceful with a flexible outlook, the ability to multi-task in order to handle competing priorities & able to fit in to an international dynamic & multi-cultural environment.
Finally you should possess a Drivers Licence & be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Contracts will be awarded up to a max of 3 years duration. Salaries will be negotiable depending upon experience & skill set. An Ex-Pats package will be available and it is envisaged that the leave rota will be 8 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
