Excellent opportunity available within the Munster region for an experienced Quality Manager.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for Operations, Suppliers and compliance, for a global leader in Medical Devices.

Responsibilities:

+ Lead, manage and oversee with respect to quality, all activities and processes involved in the manufacture of medical device product within operations.
+ This includes supplier quality engineering, incoming and final Inspection, acceptance activities during production, material review boards, product and process quality engineering, packaging and environmental area control.
+ Will partner with engineering in areas such as validation, new product launches, product engineering and corrective actions.
+ Will ensure timely closure of CAPA and production / supplier related field issues.
+ Will support new product development, product transfer and manufacturing of medical devices, providing quality support, systems and tools.

Skills/Education:

+Masters/Degree qualified within Engineering/Science discipline
+Proven experience in The management for a team of at least 16 Engineers from a Quality perspective
+Must have proven ability in the provision of technical direction, coaching and development of team, and an insight into strategic development within manufacturing.
+ Strong Project Management capabilities is essential. Proven experience of planning organising and implementing concurrent tasks.
+ Strong operations, supplier quality management, and development, and quality systems experience.
+ A good understanding of lean manufacturing, and ideally a six sigma black belt qualification.
