Regional Business Manager

You have experience of marketing and selling within the coatings industry, and a proven record of success in people management. Possessing excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, you can confidently interact with all levels within a business from trainees to senior management. Commercially astute and results-oriented, you have the ability to work well within the different cultures of the Nordic region. You are committed to challenging yourself and developing new skills, work comfortably under pressure and can adapt to new requirements. Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, you will manage the business’s coatings business units within the UK and Nordic region, delivering budgeted commercial margin and net working capital with P&L responsibility of around £5m. You will also implement the strategic business plan agreed with the International Business Director. You will be the senior level contact with key principals and customers, develop sales to Coatings and Inks manufacturers by building relationships with new and existing customers, and grow the business. You will also managed a team within the coatings business unit and support them in delivering their targets.

Our client provides innovative ingredients for cosmetics, personal care, food, fragrance and healthcare. Although based in the UK, you will need to travel regularly to the Nordic region. As well as an attractive salary, the role comes with a company car and other benefits.
